HeadStrong’s Mentor Training Program is excellent for professionals, family members, caregivers, tutors, students, and people living with brain injury. The Mentor Trainings are designed to help people be empowering supports to people living with brain injury.

In Positive Behavior Supports and Conflict Resolution we explore the last two topics in the Mentor Training. We focus on the purpose of behaviors and learn specific skills for providing positive behavior supports. This allows us to create options for ourselves and others to choose successful behaviors. We learn a variety of communication tools that build trust during conflict resolution. We work in small groups to identify communication tools that support positive behaviors and promote calm in times of conflict.
We provide a Mentor Training Manual with all training materials and handouts.
Supper & beverages included.
Register as a professional, person living with brain injury, family member, or volunteer. Full scholarships also available.
Continuing Education Credits (CEUs) for rehabilitation professionals available.
