A great way to spread brain injury awareness is through one’s art. Meet Louise Mathewson, an award winning poet, writer and individual with brain injury. Check out her words, here: https://www.louisemathewson.com/
Human beings can get broken; physically, emotionally, mentally or spiritually. This post is dedicated to those who love us the most, whether we are broken or not.
To our BEST friends and supporters:
Thank you all so much for all that you are doing to spread the word about brain injury for Brain Injury Awareness Month! Your efforts are paying off and you are being heard.
As we entered into the last weekend of this important month of awareness, keep up the good work. YOU are making a difference! Have a great weekend everyone!
Last year, a Seattle man’s entire family was changed forever by a drunk driver. His parents lost their lives and his wife and infant son were both badly injured; both mother and child are now impacted by brain injury and other health issues. Today, a year later, read about this same family and their Seattle community that bonded together to educate and create awareness.
Here’s a little something to smile about!
