Volunteers sought: Our BEST friends at the Curran Apple Orchard Park (home of the BEST adopted apple tree 2015) in University Place, WA, are seeking volunteers for the annual and popular community event, “The Cider Squeeze,” on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at the park. Help is needed with: set up from 9:30 am-noon; booths; merchandise; washing area; press area; and portraying “Johnny Appleseed” (wearing a special costume and handing out treats–perfect for a teen volunteer) and finally, take down from 4 pm-6:30 pm.
