One of the things we’ve tried to do over the past 17 years is to celebrate those who have given of themselves to BEST and to our community. We’ve embraced these superheroes as family and shared their stories. We’ve learned from them and become stronger because of them.
BEST is better because of the friendships we’ve developed over the years. Recently, Janet Mott, a long time personal friend and BEST enthusiast passed away. Janet was a passionate supporter of the brain injury community.
She always had a can-do approach to helping other and was always willing to help others. She made such a difference in so many lives.

We will miss her encouragement, support, and the many times over the years that she came to Our BEST Space to share her wisdom, play with us, and help many of our BESTies navigate health and social care systems.
