Introduction To Using The BEST RingCentral System
We’ve come a long way in communications since this 1887 phone was used. Now we have iPhones, and tablets, and Skype, and Instant Messaging, and email, and the list goes on. It can be confusing and expensive. As a member of Our BEST Groups you have an integrated communication system available as part of your membership.
Having a phone extension means you no longer have to hand out your personal phone number for public inquiries or group related issues. You can give them the BEST number with your extension. You can even forward those calls to your cell phone seamlessly.
BEST uses the RingCentral communications platform for all our phone, messaging, fax, and online meeting needs. We hope that you find this service useful. We know that’s not enough to make you feel comfortable with the system so, we’re suggesting the 2o minute session RingCentral put together; “Getting Started With RingCentral.” (You’ll need to log in to access the class.)
You don’t have to worry about the technical stuff. We take care of that for you. You let us know you want an extension and we’ll get you set up. Once you’re set up you’ll most likely want your group members to reach you so one of the first things you’ll want to do is set up your voicemail. It’s just like setting up your voicemail on your personal phone. You can learn more about how to do that in this step-by-step guide to setting up voicemail. Remember, until you’re ready to set up a personal voicemail greeting the default greeting is active.
