Today, on this Giving Tuesday (#GivingTuesday), the international day of giving back to causes and organizations that you care about, it’s a great time to reflect on what we do and how it defines us.
Earlier this fall, the Brain Energy Support Team (BEST) reflected on 2021, and how the organization and brain injury community adapted to the Covid-19 pandemic.
It wasn’t easy.
The common thread through the work, change, and determination?
That love and support are still here.
Emphasis on the word, love.
Love is what we do. It’s what defines us at the core.
Love defined the BEST way: the love of the BEST community, near and far, is what makes us stronger, bolder, and more determined than ever to support each other, grow and learn together.
