In all the research I have carried out since surviving my brain injury (stroke), I am struck by the huge emphasis given to physical rehabilitation compared to mental (or emotional) rehabilitation. I’m not suggesting that the physical impact is unimportant, just that the emotional aspects of brain injury recovery seem a bit neglected compared to (more…)
