Throwback Thursday (#TBT): Looking back at our “Superhero” show, our community art installation at the Tacoma Art Museum last fall. Such a SUPER experience celebrating the artists of the Washington State brain injury community, greeting old friends and making new ones.

TAM Community Art Installation: Superhero Fall 2019 Recap
The Brain Energy Support Team (BEST) was thrilled and honored to share the art of the Washington State brain injury community.
BEST participated in a community art installation at the Tacoma Art Museum (TAM). Work displayed in Tacoma Art Museum’s TAM Local: Community Art Space for the “Superhero” show. The show ran from October 16, 2019 to December 26, 2019, with an opening night receptions and artist meet and greet on Thursday, October 17, 2019 in the TAM Community Art Space.
With 18 artists featured and nearly 50 pieces of art, this installation was enjoyed by many.
Now that the “Superhero” show has taken flight, we’d like to thank the following:

See Art, Make Art, Be a Superhero November 14, 2019 in Tacoma
Save the date: Next Thursday, November 14, 2019, BEST Artists Diane Rasch of Heartfelt Tidbits of Creativity, Robin Spicuzza, and Erin Thompson, along with BEST Communications Manager, Kim Thompson, will be at the Tacoma Art Museum (TAM) from 5 pm to 8 pm in the Cheney room on the third floor, the home of the Superhero show, our community art installation!
Diane will be sharing a superhero make and take art project with the public during this time. We’d love to have you stop by, see the art, make some art,and answer any questions you have about BEST.
Even better: during those very hours, the ENTIRE museum is FREE to the general public, so come explore all that TAM has to offer!
